All the SPAM is getting me down…

You may have noticed that I don’t post on here a lot. Busy doing other things mostly. Imagine my surprise when I got in here today and fount 119 comments about my site. All offering lame jokes with a reference to viagra or cialis. Hey - they can’t all know me can they?
I just sent the files to spam hell but now that I think about it why don’t we just forward them back to the makers of these drugs and overwhelm THEIR website with useless garbage. I don’t know the percentage of email that is unsolicited but I’ll bet it exceeds welcome mail by many orders of magnitude. I even understand if you go shopping on a site you may get on their list and get info about sales and such. My wife has a screen name that she uses exclusively for shopping It has 10 to the 23rd power messages in her spam folder. Whare does all that get stored, because she never reads it. There’s probably a 10 megabyte CDC Hawk drive out there in the ethernet cloud just chugging away storing her spam mails.
Seems like a waste of resources to me.
TIp of the day: Get rid of Windows. Get Linux. You’ll be glad you did. Computing can be FUN again.
